First Federal Bank has started 2025 with an exclamation point by opening its newest full-service banking branch. The branch, First Fed’s fourteenth overall, is located at 1217 2nd Street South in historic downtown Nampa. It is the third Treasure Valley location for First Fed, which also has two branches in Meridian – one on South Eagle Road and another on Fox Run Way. Similar to other First Federal Bank branches, the Nampa location will offer personal banking, business banking, lending, and wealth management. Since entering the Treasure Valley market in 2015, First Fed has become well known for providing premier banking solutions, especially commercial loans, home loans, and business services.
“We are excited to be a part of the Nampa community and are bullish on its future,” stated Jason Meyerhoeffer, President and CEO of First Federal Bank. “As Idaho’s only mutual bank, First Federal’s values and community banking will be a great fit with the Nampa community. In addition, most of our branch staff is from the Nampa area and understands the community, its history, and culture.”
Treasure Valley Market President for First Federal Bank and Nampa native, Jim Reames, shared, “We look forward to serving the financial needs of Nampa and Canyon County residents as well as becoming an integral part of the overall community. Our approach to banking is truly different. First Fed prides itself on enhancing the financial well-being of customers as well as helping to transform communities.”
Business hours for the Nampa branch are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. An official grand opening for the branch will occur on Thursday, March 6. The event will be jointly hosted with the Nampa Chamber of Commerce. Additional information about the grand opening will provided in the coming weeks.
Newer to the Treasure Valley, First Federal Bank was established in 1915 in Twin Falls, and operates 11 branches throughout the Magic Valley (in addition to its locations in Meridian and Nampa). First Fed maintains its stature as Idaho’s only mutual bank, dedicated to serving the community, and currently has assets of over $1.5 billion.
