First Federal Bank President and CEO, Jason Meyerhoeffer, has announced the addition of Troy Mahlke, CPA to the bank’s board of directors. Mahlke is filling the director seat that opened when Steve Westfall retired after serving 33 years on the board. Mahlke, a North Dakota native, has lived and worked in Twin Falls since 1994 and is an owner and member of Mahlke Hunsaker & Company, PLLC.

“Troy will be a great addition to First Federal’s board of directors,” stated Meyerhoeffer. “Obviously, as a CPA, he brings excellent financial expertise to the board. But he is also very active and well respected in the Twin Falls community and has a long relationship with First Federal. We are excited to have Troy’s perspective and contributions to the board.”

In addition to owning and operating an accounting firm, Mahlke has been a board member for numerous community non-profits and organizations including the YMCA, Mustard Seed Thrift Store, the Twin Falls Reformed Church, and Twin Falls American Legion Baseball. He also previously served in the North Dakota Army National Guard (Staff Sergeant E-6) and Idaho Army National Guard (Sergeant E-5). A sports enthusiast, Mahlke has volunteered extensively to support youth programs in the area including helping with Twin Falls County Youth Baseball and the Magic Valley Football League.

Mahlke graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He and his and his wife of 31 years, Tami, have three sons – Cy, Jace, and Bryce.
